Learn, Connect & Thrive July 12, 2026
I had a fantastic time at our first Learn, Connect & Thrive Event at the Ed Asner Center! 💙
My heart is so full after seeing so many amazing families come together to connect, learn, play, and support each another in our community. The turnout was incredible, and there was nothing better than watching the kids laugh, create, move, and be themselves!
It was also such an honor to be a part of the parent panel and share my journey of raising a daughter on the Autism spectrum. If my family’s experiences can help even one other parent feel seen, understood, or a little less alone, then it’s worth every moment!
A huge thank you to the incredible people who made this event possible!
✨ Dr. Myah Gittelson for organizing such a meaningful event.
✨ Rachel Milman for being an amazing legal advocate and resource for families.
✨ Puzzle Piece Athletics for getting everyone moving and having fun.
✨ House of Muse for sharing the joy of music.
✨ Neil Hughes for bringing connection and regulation to the day.
From the arts & crafts to the fitness activities, every corner was filled with smiles. And of course, everyone loved the delicious snacks, including the amazing cookies generously donated by Poppy & Jenny’s Cookies! 🍪
Watching this community come together reminded me why events like this matter so much. Especially for me, where everything I do is driven by my goal of helping families live their best possible lives. These events create a space where families feel supported, children are celebrated, and meaningful connections are made, and I am so proud to be a part of them!
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day so special. I already can’t wait for the next one!
If you’d like to stay connected on future events, or learn more about resources in your area, please reach out any time! 💙✨
